Summer Honey
Mild and creamy taste
It has a gentle aroma, mild taste, and a light, creamy mouthfeel. It has a subtle aftertaste and is perfect for adding sweetness to herbal tea, coffee, and meals. It is also recommended to eat it with cucumbers or to add it to biscuits and baked goods.
The color is slightly deeper than honey harvested in spring and lighter than honey harvested in autumn. One of the characteristics of natural honey is that it crystallizes early, and is already crystallized by autumn, which is another characteristic of Lithuanian summer honey.
Honey, made from linden nectar, has long been known to be good for your health, and contains many modern scientifically proven properties, such as vitamins, amino acids, and hydrogen peroxide (antibacterial properties). It is said that consuming honey as is is the most efficient way to absorb it, but it is also effective to mix it with hot water or other beverages.
About Nectar Source
The nectar source, the linden, is a deciduous tree called the common lime tree, which is called " Liepa " in Lithuanian. Because it blooms in July , "July " is also called "Liepa" in Lithuanian. It is an iconic Lithuanian tree that grows wild widely throughout Lithuania and is used for herbal tea. ( * It is sometimes referred to as the linden tree.)

Pure, unheated, no additives
Raw honey, which is not heated or processed, is more than just delicious. The rich flavor that fills your mouth with the unique characteristics of each season is proof of this. Try eating it as is. You'll be able to feel the energy of the bees gathering around gorgeous flowers and the shining sun condensed into the crystals.
Natural honey is a gift of nature that cannot be fully described. The recipe for it, known only to the bees, is unique and distinctive. It has been widely used as a folk remedy since ancient times, and has also been used as a beauty mask for hair, face, body, etc., making it a valuable health and beauty panacea. It can also be a healthy alternative for those who can't give up sweets.
Seasonal honey from Mother Nature
Freshly harvested honey before crystallization is characterized by its soft and viscous texture. The time it takes for honey to crystallize after bottling varies depending on the type of honey, but it is said to take about one week for spring honey and up to six months for autumn honey. (In Lithuania. The time required for crystallization varies from honey to honey.)
About Beekeepers
Twin Beekeepers
They are twin beekeepers in the Panevezys region of northern Lithuania. In the vast natural surroundings, they produce natural honey that is rich in seasonal characteristics.
Ignace is in charge of managing the hives and shipping products, while Vilius handles inquiries by phone and email. Ignace is the public relations face of Brolu Médus and often appears on their official social media accounts, while Vilius is in charge of taking photos and writing articles for promotional purposes.
Started as a boy in 2011
In 2011, they restored the hive that their grandfather had once used and released the first bees, starting beekeeping at Brolyu Medus. Soon after, two more hives were added and the wild bees began to multiply. The history of the twin beekeepers, who were still children at the time, began quietly in a rural town in Lithuania.
By the time I graduated from junior high school, my beekeeping had already grown to 14 colonies, but I wasn't selling the honey I harvested. During my time as a student, the scale of beekeeping didn't change much, and I still had a lot to learn about the techniques.
Improve your skills through warrior training
Vilius then travelled to Norway alone to learn beekeeping know-how, and when he returned he applied the techniques he had learned to his own beekeeping practice, gradually increasing the number of colonies from 60 to 130.
Currently, Brolu Médus has grown to over 300 colonies with over 25 million bees, and despite its young age, it continues to grow. As a family business run by twins, it continues to write a history that shines as beautifully as honey.
