As a result of focusing on the production of wines using fruits, where grapes do not grow in regions with severe cold, unique brands have become widely loved by Lithuanian people and have grown into the most famous fruit wine winery in the three Baltic countries. bottom.
In 2005, a new wine brand was named "Volta". Voruta is the name of a historic royal castle that is said to have existed around the 13th century in the Anikschei region, where the winery is located.
Lithuania in the 13th century was a state called the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, which dominated the north from the Black Sea and boasted the largest land area in Europe. The name of the castle of King Mindaugas at that time was "Volta", and it is said to be a legendary castle whose exact location is unknown.
The royal castle "Volta" is carving a new history as the name of a wine brand that inherits the tradition and pride of Lithuania over time.
